Business Labelling Compliance for Allergens

Nutritics, along with partners at the UK Food Labelling Resource, launched the Natasha’s Law Business Forum after a special three day virtual conference which took place from July 6th to 8th, 2021

The Natasha’s Law Business Conference 2021 was held in order to help companies prepare for the Food Information Amendment 2019 (also known as Natasha’s Law). The online event was packed full of workshops, live training sessions, panel discussions and talks from leading experts in Allergen Management and Labelling. The sessions can all be rewatched on the forum.

Natasha’s Law came into effect in October 2021, having been officially introduced by Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Michael Gove, in June 2019.

The UK Food Labelling Resource is a non-profit information group formed by Nutritics, a provider of allergen management and nutrition labelling solutions. This group represents stakeholders from across food industry, research, labelling and government and was established to support the effective roll-out of new food labelling legislation in the UK.

Stephen Nolan

Chief Executive Officer with Allergy UK, Carla is dedicated to improving the lives of people living with allergic disease and raising the profile of allergy at all levels.
Arvind Thandi
Arvind Thandi is Team Leader for Food Hypersensitivity at the FSA. In her role, she works specifically on projects related to improving the quality of life for people with food allergies and intolerances.
Haleh Moravej
Haleh Moravej is the National Teaching Fellow of 2018, a multi-award winning senior lecturer at MMU, a nutrition entrepreneur and highly experienced media nutritionist. She is the founder of MetMUnch.
Archna Tharani

Archna is a board member of Allergy UK, which is the leading national charity providing support, advice and information for those living with allergic disease. Archna has two children aged 13 and 10 who have multiple food allergies.

Carol Evans is Chief Business Development Officer at Ten Kites, an award-winning technology company providing food businesses with a complete menu publishing solution.
Frances Tucker
Tucker is Managing Director of Surefoot Solutions, having been a  Director since 2012. Surefoot Solutions provides expert food, fire and safety support and consultation to all sectors of the food industry.
Damian O’Kelly
Damian O’Kelly is a nutritionist and Founder and CEO of Nutritics. He holds a BSc in Sport Science and Health from DCU, Ireland and an MSc in Sports Nutrition from Leeds Metropolitan University, UK.
Cathy Amos
Cathy is Head of Customer Marketing at Brakes UK, a company she has been a part of for over 32 years. In her role, Cathy heads customer marketing and development for the catering division. This division primarily includes caterers in schools, universities, nurseries, hospitals, and care homes.
Ben Toft
Ben is an expert in hardware solutions at Peak-Ryzek Food and Hospitality. Peak-Ryzex serves as a trusted business partner for some of the world’s largest companies.
Julia Hayes
Julia is is a Registered Nutritionist providing evidence-based nutrition advice and support to the food industry. She has extensive experience working with school caterers including writing nutrition and allergen policy, menu planning and catering for children with special diets.
Dr Audrey Dunn Galvin
Director Early Years & Childhood Studies Degree Programme (UCC), Having obtained an MA in Applied Psychology in UCC, Dr DunnGalvin undertook a PhD in the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health on developmental trajectories in food allergy. 
George MacLeod
Key Account Manager with Nutritics with who has worked with food service operators in the UK for almost a decade, specialising in implementation, change and risk management.
Leigh George
Head of Endorsements at Allergy UK, Leigh works closely with manufacturers to endorse products that are beneficial to allergy suffers. She leads on Allergy UK’s ‘Allergy Aware Scheme’.
Emily Ross
Emily Ross is an author, communications expert, MC and speaker. She will be hosting a number of events throughout the 3 day conference.
